CIFF has recently been recognized as a “Hidden Gem” in the Live Events/Festivals category of Pat Pattison’s “Hidden Gems.” This annual list highlights the top ten lesser-known yet valuable destinations for summer travel in California. CIFF’s inclusion reflects its growing significance as a notable event, particularly appealing to travelers and film lovers looking for unique experiences.
Before the festival, film fans can attend a screening of the acclaimed film The Godfather on May 28, 2025, at the Village Theatre in Coronado. The doors will open at 4:45 PM, offering attendees a complimentary glass of wine. The film screening is scheduled to start promptly at 5:30 PM with tickets priced at $15.
The Godfather, released in 1972, is based on Mario Puzo’s novel. It features a star-studded cast, including Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, James Caan, and Diane Keaton.
