As we dive into Earth Week, we have something to look forward to that will celebrate our beautiful oceans and support important conservation efforts. Emerald Keepers, a local organization committed to protecting the environment, is throwing a Hawaiian-themed fundraiser called An Evening of Aloha. This fun-filled event will take place on April 24, running from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, at the stylish Nautilus Room located in the Coronado Community Center.

A Night to Remember

This event marks the first major fundraiser for Emerald Keepers in three years, and they are rolling out the red carpet! Attendees can get ready for an exciting evening filled with culture, art, and delectable food. One of the highlights of the night will be an art auction featuring works from renowned artist Robert Wyland alongside talented local artists such as Tina Christiansen, Teresa Espaniola, Ana Violeta Horta, and Matt Swinden. This is a unique opportunity to snag some stunning pieces while supporting an excellent cause.

For those who want a special experience, a VIP sparkling wine reception will precede the main event, allowing guests a sneak peek at the amazing artwork up for auction. And that’s not all! During the event, Emerald Keepers will recognize the 2025 Emerald Keeper of the Year, making this a perfect chance to celebrate those who care deeply for our environment.

Emerald Keepers has been a beacon of hope for the Coronado community in the last six years, focusing on environmental education and innovative initiatives. The funds raised during the event will contribute to feasibility studies and eventual installation of solar energy systems.
