Participants were in for a treat as they learned the nuances of preparing two different types of crépes: the savory galette, made with buckwheat, and the classic sweet crépe that everyone adores.

Olena Shaber, the lovely owner of the venue, generously provided the cooking space for the attendees. This special event was part of a fundraising online auction conducted by SunCoast Co-Op back in December. Diane Guthrie from Omaha won the auction and decided to share this culinary experience with her friends, who had traveled all the way from Rancho Peñasquitos. This group of women has been friends for an impressive 25 years, making the occasion even more special.
