San Diego Gears Up for Rainy Days and Spring Skateboarding Fun!

Ah, San Diego! Known for its sunny skies and beautiful beaches, but today, it’s all about the cloudy weather and an inviting chance for some rain. So grab your umbrellas and rain boots, because it looks like that much-anticipated precipitation is finally on its way! Sure, the high temperature for the day is only going to reach a balmy 62°F, but with 100% chance of rain in the forecast, you may want to embrace your inner beach bum in a cozy sweater.

Winds will be blowing in from the WNW at a gentle pace of about 5 to 10 mph. As we move into the evening, the temperatures will drop to around 55°F—perfect weather for curling up with a good book or binge-watching that series everyone’s been talking about. Don’t forget to secure your patio furniture; those winds will be picking up a bit with gusts from the WSW at around 10 to 20 mph. Expect a total rainfall of roughly a quarter of an inch, just enough to nourish the plants and give our lovely city a fresh shower!

Skateboarders, Get Ready for Spring Classes!

SD Skatelife is all set to kick off its spring skateboarding classes at the Skatepark. Whether your child is a total newbie or someone looking to polish their skills, these classes are tailored for children ages 6–13. There is something for everyone! confidence that comes from learning and mastering skateboarding skills. They’ll focus on balance exercises, safety, and some basic skateboard etiquette, making sure that while your kids are having fun, they’re also learning how to ride responsibly. Plus, those beginner tricks? They will be introduced gradually to keep the pace comfortable and enjoyable.

Mark your calendars! The beginner and advanced beginner classes will take place on Mondays from 3:30 to 4:15 p.m. or 4:30 to 5:15 p.m.. Got some time off during the upcoming spring break? You’re in luck! There are special sessions available on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Perfect for letting the little ones unleash their inner skater!
